SHIPPING POLICY

Return & Exchange Policy

All Apotherie products are uniquely handcrafted. We do our best to have all packages shipped out within 1-3 business days (Monday-Thursday) of your payment processing successfully. The time (in addition to fulfillment time) that it takes your package to get to you depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout.

We offer free shipping for domestic orders over $50 and they will be sent using USPS First Class shipping. If you want to receive your package sooner, you have the option of paying for another shipping method at the checkout.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your product to reach you, may vary. A confirmation email will be sent with a tracking number once your package ships.

Any shipping time starts after the package has shipped, which can be up to 4 business days from the purchase.

We stand behind our goods and services and want you to be satisfied with them. We’ll always do our best to take care of customers—our philosophy is to deal with you fairly and reasonably; we hope you will be fair and reasonable with us as well.

Refund Policy:

Refunds can only be made before your purchase has been shipped. Please contact us at herbalist@apotherie.com to cancel your order and request a refund. 

Exchange for Damaged or Defective Products:

If you have received a damaged or defective product, please email us at herbalist@apotherie.com. We will be happy to refund or replace your purchase.

*Please also note that we do not have a money back guarantee, as our products affect everyone differently. We are not able to accept back any product that has been opened or used.

Delayed / Lost Packages:

Over 99% of the time, our packages arrive on time with no delays. On occasion a package will get lost in the mail, or arrive later than expected. Once we ship the item, your point of contact is the shipping courier.  If you have any questions about your shipment, please contact USPS by calling 800-ASK-USPS or UPS at 800-742-5877 and they are usually able to locate the package.

If you order using USPS First Class Mail, please note there is no insurance and should the package be lost, we will not replace it.

If you would like insurance please use USPS Priority Mail which does come with either $50 or $100 in insurance. Please note that the package must be more than 15 days late prior to filing a claim. Insurance claims and USPS service issues must be directed to USPS. Apotherie cannot resolve issues on behalf of USPS.

We are not responsible for any package being stolen off your doorstep or mailbox.

Coupon Codes and Discount Codes:

Coupon codes and discount codes are not eligible for refunds and cannot be applied retroactively once an order is placed. If you wish to receive our newsletter which occasionally contains coupon codes you can sign up on apotherie.com. 

wilderness adventures cancellation & refund policy

Our cancellation and refund policy is in place so that we can maintain sustainability of our business. We are a small family operated business that is run by 2 humans. A lot of work and energy goes on behind the scenes to make sure that each trip runs smoothly, safely, and with grace. We curate each event to meet the needs of each individual participant, and this is part of the investment. Our pricing is already at half the cost of all other guiding services in order to create further accessibility to wilderness and healing.

Our wilderness retreats operate rain or shine. California summers tend to be pretty sunny, but in the case that we do get a little rain, the clouds do pass through the sierras quite quickly.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • 85% of the total cost of your trip will be refunded if we are given 30 or more days’ notice prior to the trip start date. You may also take a nonrefundable credit of the full value paid in lieu of a refund.  This can be applied to any other trip.

  • If given less than 30 days’ notice, we will refund the cost of food budgeted for the trip.

  •  If we determine that a trip should be cancelled mid-way through the trip (for example, due to unhealthy smoke levels or governmental circumstances outside our control), we will provide a credit for the unused portion of the trip.

 You can look into some form of personal trip protection insurance to protect your investment.
